Overview
This policy applies to the Lavilora app, related app functionality, and associated website operations connected to regal.lavilora.wiki. It is intended to give users a practical explanation of how account details, posted content, device signals, and support communications may be handled when using the platform.
Depending on how a person uses Lavilora, some categories described below may not apply in every case.
1. Data Collection
Information received through Lavilora generally falls into a few categories: details provided directly by users, technical data generated through app activity, and content shared through community features.
- Account and profile details: this may include a username, display name, email address, profile photo, biography, account preferences, and other information entered during registration or profile setup.
- User content: when users upload or create posts, Lavilora may process photos, short videos, captions, comments, saved items, reactions, messages sent through in-app features if offered, and related metadata.
- Device and technical information: this may include device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, approximate diagnostics, crash logs, IP address, and identifiers needed for security, fraud prevention, or service performance.
- Usage activity: the app may log how users move through the service, such as viewed content, interactions, search behavior, feature usage, report actions, and engagement with community tools.
- Permissions and sensitive access: if a user chooses to enable them, Lavilora may request access to the photo library or camera for uploading content, location for local discovery or geographically relevant features, and contacts only if a feature specifically relies on contact-based connections. These permissions are optional unless required for a particular function.
- Third-party SDK related data: the app may use general analytics, infrastructure, moderation, authentication, content delivery, notification, or measurement tools supplied by outside providers. Those tools may automatically receive limited technical data needed to operate correctly.
2. Data Usage
Data handled through Lavilora is used to keep the app functional, maintain community features, and improve the overall experience for people participating in the platform’s nightlife-focused social environment.
- To create and manage user accounts, profiles, and sign-in access.
- To display posts, videos, saved content, and community interactions inside the app.
- To recommend relevant content, surface local or interest-based activity, and personalize app features.
- To respond to support requests, reports, moderation issues, and abuse prevention needs.
- To diagnose bugs, monitor performance, and protect the service against spam, fraud, or unauthorized access.
- To send service messages such as account alerts, policy notices, security updates, or important operational communications.
- To measure app usage and assess campaign performance where advertising, promotions, or marketing efforts are used.
Lavilora may share limited information with service providers that support hosting, security, analytics, moderation, communications, or infrastructure. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to enforce platform rules, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or Lavilora.
Personal information is not sold in the ordinary sense of exchanging user data for cash. If applicable law treats certain analytics, advertising, or measurement transfers as a “sale” or “sharing,” users may request to opt out as explained in the rights section below.
3. Data Storage & Security
Information associated with Lavilora may be stored on secure servers, cloud systems, and supporting infrastructure used to operate the app and related services. Storage may occur in more than one jurisdiction depending on where systems, backups, or service providers are located.
Security controls may include encrypted transmission, access restrictions, account authentication measures, logging, platform monitoring, and administrative safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No digital system can promise absolute security. For that reason, users should also help protect their accounts by choosing strong credentials, keeping device software updated, and reporting suspicious activity.
Retention periods depend on the nature of the information and the reason it was gathered. Account records, posted content, technical logs, and support correspondence may be kept for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce platform rules, or maintain business records. When data is no longer reasonably necessary, it may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated.
4. Third-Party Services
Parts of Lavilora may rely on outside providers for operational functions such as hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, content moderation support, notifications, authentication, payment-related processing if later introduced, and media delivery.
Those providers are permitted to handle information only to the extent needed to perform services on behalf of the app or to meet their own legal duties. Their practices may be governed by separate privacy terms, so users should understand that information processed through integrated services can be subject to those providers’ policies as well.
Lavilora may also contain links or references to external websites, profiles, or platforms. Once a user leaves the app or interacts with a third-party destination, the handling of information there is controlled by that separate service rather than this policy.
5. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where a user lives, privacy law may provide rights relating to personal information. Lavilora supports reasonable requests to exercise those rights where legally required.
- Access: users may request a copy of certain personal information associated with their account.
- Correction: users may ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be updated.
- Deletion: users may request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law.
- Restriction or objection: users may ask to limit certain processing activities or object to specific uses.
- Opt-out rights: users may request to opt out of data sharing or processing activities that qualify under applicable law for advertising or related disclosures.
- Portability: where required, users may request personal data in a transferable format.
- Non-discrimination: users will not be treated unfairly for exercising privacy rights recognized by law.
Rights requests may be submitted by emailing support@lavilora.com. To protect accounts and community safety, Lavilora may need to verify identity before completing certain requests. Some data may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, recordkeeping, or dispute resolution.
6. Children's Privacy
Lavilora is intended for adults and older users in nightlife-oriented social spaces, not children. The app is not designed for individuals under 18 years of age, and accounts for minors are not permitted.
Lavilora does not knowingly gather personal information from children under 13, and it does not knowingly allow users under 18 to use the service. If it becomes apparent that a minor has submitted personal information or created an account, that information may be removed and the related account may be disabled or deleted.
Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information through the app may contact support@lavilora.com. Requests relating to children’s information will be reviewed in line with applicable law, including COPPA where relevant.
7. Policy Updates
This policy may change from time to time as Lavilora’s features, legal requirements, or operational practices evolve. Revised versions may be posted within the app, on the associated website, or through another reasonable notice method.
When updates are material, users may also receive an in-app notice, account message, or similar alert where appropriate. The effective date shown at the top of this page reflects the version currently in force.
